Hi, I'm Joanna, an Albany, New York based photographer specializing in heartfelt portrait sessions, and lifestyle photography throughout the Capital Region including Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga, Colonie, Clifton Park and beyond.

The historic charm of the Capital Region and natural beauty gives me so much inspiration for the perfect location for your session. From the iconic lake and tulips at Washington Park, the Rose Garden in Central Park, the modern elegance of the Empire State Plaza, the Gilded Age style buildings in Troy, or the trails and parks along the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers.

My approach is warm, natural and relaxing - prioritizing a natural light and clean, classic and timeless editing style that highlights real emotion and connection. Photography has been a passion of mine for years. I build a trust and rapport quickly so sessions feel effortless, like hanging out with a friend rather than a formal photo shoot. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, skiing, and hiking with my husband and 2 wonderful children.
